Review Requests
Currently closed to review requests, with one exception: audiobooks. If you have an audiobook that fits what I read, I’m still open to hearing about it.
What I Read (When Open)
- Speculative Fiction – science fiction, fantasy, dystopian, apocalyptic, time travel, alternate realities
- Historical Fiction – romances, fantasies, mysteries; pre-20th century preferred, especially pre-19th century and ancient/prehistoric settings
- Chick Lit – quirky and funny rom-com style
- Crime Fiction – thrillers, legal, police procedural, Tartan Noir
- Contemporary Romance – small town romances preferred
- Combinations of the above
Short story collections are generally avoided, but exceptions are made for exceptional authors.
What I Don’t Read
Sports fiction, biographies, self-help, finance/business/economics, technical, Christian fiction, erotica, memoirs, fashion, politics.
The Small Print
- Submitting a request doesn’t guarantee a review – I can only agree to consider it.
- My reviews are honest and reflect my own opinion. Not every book gets a positive rating.
- I don’t guarantee a timeline for reviews. If you have a deadline, let me know in advance.
- Reviews may be cross-posted – let me know if you have a preferred platform.
- ARCs are never sold, shared, or donated.
